Villard de Lans has opened its BIKE RESORT©, 100% dedicated to all bicycle sports and bicycle sports enthusiasts, Mountain biking, road biking and cycling with electric bikes. This very first Bike Resort provides itineraries, services and tools for beginners who wish to learn in a supervised setting as well for biking enthusiasts who are searching for a single venue for day-long organised excursions, training courses, and weekend or week-long packages.
The aim of the BIKE RESORT is to become the leading venue for multi-discipline bicycle sports in France, in terms of the size of its dedicated areas, as well as the density, variety, quality and seasonality of its offers.
The BIKE RESORT, also offers complementary services that include specialised accommodation for bicycle fans, support and professional instruction through its Mountain Biking and cycling schools and stores specialised in testing, selling, renting and maintaining equipment year round. There are also activities for everyone (experience on ice, pumptrack contest, introductory outings on mountain bike and much more) that include international events such as the Vélo Vert Festival. Last but not least, the 1st test centre in the world has more than 1,000 mountain bikes and accessories available on a trial basis.
