Two artificial lakes...
are located in the Villard de Lans Alpine resort. These two reservoirs were designed to create water reserves for snow cannons in winter. In addition to the beauty of the sites that photographers will take great pleasure in immortalizing in different light, they turn into fishing spots in the summer.
Lac de Pré
Located at 1536m above sea level, it is also easily accessible from the arrival station of the Cote 2000 gondola lift: only 20 minutes to descend. For the brave of heart, access to the lake is possible from Les Glovettes (45 minutes).
With a surface area of 1.2 hectares this lake is ideal for wet and dry fly-fishing and line fishing.
Two catches per day per person are allowed as well as the use of natural bait (license required).
Lac de la Moucherolle
Located at 1,916m above sea level at the foot of the legendary Villard de Lans – Corrençon en Vercors mountain, this lake is accessible in 50 min from the arrival station of the Cote 2000 gondola lift (200m D+) and 21/2 hours from the resort. Fishing authorizations are the same as for the Lac de Pré.
